Our Vision and our commitment

Women's Hope International works to ensure that women and girls - regardless of origin, wealth or religion - can exercise their right to a healthy and self-determined life. Together with local partner organisations and the affected communities, we promote the development and expansion of basic medical services for pregnancy and childbirth in Africa and Asia and empower women to claim their sexual and reproductive rights and to defend themselves against gender-based violence.
Women's Hope International is ZEWO-certified.

We are committed to a world in which

sexual and reproductive health is guaranteed and women receive high-quality care during pregnancy and birth.

Girls and women are valued by the family and society and live as equals.

Our values and our principles

We recognise that girls and women are independent, self-determined actors in their own lives. Women's Hope International therefore strengthens their personal resources as well as the resources of their communities.

We act on the basis of fundamental and human rights, guided by Christian ethics that recognise and respect the value and dignity of every human being.

Our commitment is directed at all people, regardless of age, origin, ethnicity, gender, skin colour, language, religion, physical or mental impairment, political orientation or sexual orientation. The focus is on socially disadvantaged girls and women.

We are committed to a world worth living in for future generations and use resources responsibly.
