Give hope to women who suffer from obstetric fistula

Zenaba and her friend Shushan, Chad

Two million girls and women worldwide suffer from obstetric fistula. This severe condition is caused by complications during childbirth, which are not adequatly treated. The women suffer from permanent incontinence of urine or stool and are therefore full of shame and often socially isolated. The girls and women affected by obstetric fistula are among the poorest and most marginalised persons in developing countries.

As a sponsor you help these women to get cured through fistula surgery. They are no longer incontinent and regain their dignity and self-respect.

With 1 franc per day for a year one girl or woman suffering from obstetric fistula can be cured.

A new start

Information

As a sponsor you are making an annual contribution of CHF 365 or of CHF 30 per month. This is a regular contribution which you can cease at any time. A short message to Women's Hope suffices.

The sponsorship is not linked to a specific girl or woman but aims to help as many women with obstetric fistula as possible. It is therefore not possible to establish personal contact.
